Receipts and follow-ups, prepared for your approval. DATEV stays your system.

MODUS takes over receipt intake, checks and follow-ups as a running workflow. It starts in approval mode and measures its effect in turnaround and freed capacity.

Where the time goes today.

  • Receipts arrive by email, upload and paper, in every quality and without assignment.
  • Completeness is checked by hand; follow-ups with clients take days.
  • Deadlines and document requests live in people's heads and in reminders.
  • Clients ask about the status, and someone has to look it up.

Workflows we start with.

Every workflow starts in approval mode. The “Your team” column shows what stays with you.

  • Receipt intake and matching

    The system

Recognises receipts from every channel, matches them to client and period, spots duplicates and missing details.

    Your team

Approval of unclear matches, posting in the firm's system.

  • Completeness checks and follow-ups

    The system

Checks against the client's checklist, drafts follow-ups in the firm's voice, keeps at it until everything is in.

    Your team

Approval of the follow-up, professional judgment on special cases.

  • Deadlines and documents

    The system

Builds document lists for annual accounts and returns, requests them in time, shows the status per client.

Deadline control and professional responsibility stay with the licensed advisor.

  • Client requests and status updates

    The system

Answers recurring requests from the case status, drafts replies, passes on technical questions.

    Your team

Sending replies with tax content, the client conversation.

  • Research and draft preparation

    The system

Compiles facts, sources and prior work and prepares drafts with references.

    Your team

    Tax assessment, advice and signature.

What is not delegated.

Tax assessment, deadline responsibility, signature and the client conversation stay with the licensed advisor. Confidentiality under § 57 StBerG and the GDPR determine which data may go where. As a service provider, MODUS is bound to confidentiality under § 62a StBerG.

The first step is an analysis.

We look at one workflow in your firm: volumes, people involved, systems, limits. Afterwards you know whether it can be taken over and what that would take.
